Built Under Pressure, Not in a Classroom
I spent nine years as a Marine Aircraft Rescue & Firefighter, deployed twice to Iraq, fought wildland fire across three summers, and worked nearly four years as an emergency transport paramedic.
Those fields don't have much in common with SEO on the surface — but underneath, the logic is identical: complex systems, incomplete information, high cost of failure, and outcomes that depend entirely on whether your mental model of the environment is accurate.
“Complex systems, incomplete information, high cost of failure.”
Pressure reveals everything. Systems survive it.
Search as an Environment, Not a Channel
That's how I think about search. Not as a channel to optimize, but as an environment with its own physics — one where authority compounds, signals decay, and the gap between structural advantage and tactical execution determines who wins over time.
I've spent 7+ years working across every level of digital marketing — freelance through executive, B2C and B2B, strategy through implementation — staying hands-on in SEO, development, and paid search throughout.
The breadth wasn't accidental. You can't build a systems model of something you've only seen from one angle.

Why Forge Growth Exists
I founded Forge Growth in late 2025 because the search environment is in the middle of a genuine architectural shift. AI-generated answers are displacing ranked results. Agentic systems are beginning to query, evaluate, and act on behalf of users.
The businesses that come out ahead won't be the ones who optimized hardest for 2019 — they'll be the ones who understood the new environment early and built for it.

That's the work I do.
